Today’s success secrets tips is on overcoming challenges in life:
When George Bernard Shaw was asked how he learned to speak so compellingly in the public, he replied: ‘by doggedly making a fool of my self until I got used to it.
George recognized the following facts about life:
To become a conqueror, you must become bold. Whatever you fear masters you, whatever you dare bows to you. Dare to confront your obstacles, weakness, failure and challenges. Challenges recognize courage and give way when they come in contact with adventurers. Look at your problem in the face, stare it down, tell yourself the positive, muster up courage and take adventurous (daring) ride into victory.
One which aims to succeed in anything would not regard all kind of ridicules from any angle it comes from, but constantly focusing on what he wants to become like Elisha, John Wesley Powell, Abraham Lincoln (a man who never quits till he won), Albert Einstien (a man that once was known as a slow leaner with a low IQ but today reputed as the most intelligent scientist ever), Thomas Edison (a man that failed more than 1000 times but never quit until he discovered what he was searching), Helen Keller (a blind and deaf today reputed to be the great blind author and educator) Glen Cunningham, but to mention a few, – great men and women that won in spite of many ridicules and challenges.
Let us consider Elisha when his boss (Elijah) was about to be taken away. Elisha was mocked several times by people of Jordan that his boss will be taken away today and that he would have no power to do miracles. His boss Elijah even told him to tarry or stay at one point in their journey, but Elisha persisted and focused that his boss must be taken away in his presence. We all know the story and the end.
Wonderful, it is this Elisha which people of Jordan ridiculed that now came (immediately after the journey) to put an end to their story of bad (bitter) water and many more miracles he (Elisha) did for them (people of Jordan).
Three (3) things made Elisha got what he wanted in spite of all odds and ridicules. They are PERSISTENCE, FOCUS AND ENDURANCE.
You too can be winner in spite of all odds and ridicules!
CONSIDER THIS:
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the JOY that was set before him ENDURED the CROSS, despising the SHAME….Heb. 12.2
And today Jesus is given a name that is above every other name – the RESULT of his endurance.
Great achievements are usually the result of consistent struggle to overcome difficulties. Great men do not run away or shrink from challenges. If there is nothing to overcome there would be no victory.
The difficulties, hardship and trial of life, the obstacles one encounters on the road to success, are positive blessings. They knit our muscles more firmly and teach us self-reliance, just as by wrestling with an athlete who is superior to us, we increase own strength and learn the secret of his skill.
The setbacks that look as though they will finish us in most cases are set up to spur us to come out on top.
The challenges of life are meant to extract the best in you and to bring you to the knowledge of your true identity.
MY GREATEST LESSON IN LIFE IS: IF YOU WILL NOT GIVE UP DESPITE ALL DISTRACTIONS, OBSTACLES AND DISCOURAGEMENT OF LIFE YOU WILL EVENTUALLY REACH YOUR GOAL.
The secret of the champions is their refusal to quit trying in spites of body, financial, speech and background challenges.
If you are going to be a CHAMPION in this century, you need to know how to press your way through obstacles, High Mountain and dark valleys.
IN FACT YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO BE GREAT.
